Thus says Yahweh Elohim, " king of Egypt, Have I not commanded you and even given you power over the Nile Valley? Will you just look on as the Nation of Sudan goes into abyss? Behold Now, I give you a New Command, reach out to the people of Nubia and ensure that peace prevails in that Nation, says Elohim."
INTERPRETATION
Elohim rebukes the king of Egypt for his continued procrastination over the question of Sudan. Egypt's king should immediately intervene in the political impasse between Sudan Military rulers and People's Movement. A continued delay by Egypt to intervene, will give room to the Islamist fundamentalists to hijack the process of the New Sudan and hence, a catastrophe for Sudan, Egypt and the entire Nile Valley.
PRAYER POINT
Pray that Egypt's king will immediately intervene in Sudan.
