Thus says the LORD God, " king of Egypt, What peace is it that you seek from the enemies of Israel? Are the enemies of Israel not your own enemies too? Do they not seek to conquer your own Cities and Peoples too? Be not blindfolded therefore by their false promises of peace with Israel! Just as they covet evil against Israel, so do they against you and your people too, declares the LORD."
INTERPRETATION
God warns Egypt's king about his attempts to make peace with the enemies of Israel. The king of Egypt must not be a party to moves to secure a truce with Israel in favor of the forces of evil in Gaza. Egypt's king must instead work with Israel to ensure that the forces of evil in Gaza are completely annihilated so that peace will flourish in Israel and Egypt as well.
PRAYER POINT
Pray that Egypt's king will do as commanded by God.
