Thus says the LORD God, " king of Israel, Have I not commanded you not to enter nor make any peace accords with the philistines? Shall you chose to follow your own way against My WORD? What peace is it that you seek from those that hate Israel? Behold, for you double mindness, I will cause the philistines to remain a thorn to Israel till the end of your reign, after which I will cause a king to raise out of Israel and to him, I will give total victory over the philistines and all their allies, declares the LORD."
INTERPRETATION
God castigates the king of Israel for consenting to peace accords with Hamas and its allies. Because of the disobedience of the king, Hamas and its allies shall remain a thorn to Israel, till an appointed time when God will raise a new king in Israel who will completely destroy Hamas and its allies, bringing peace to Israel.
PRAYER POINT
Pray that Israel's king will repent, seek the face of God, and heed to God's command concerning the enemies of Israel.
