Thus says the LORD, "Israel; Is there anything too far for Me to know? Do I not know the hearts of the philistines? Shall you subdue yourselves unto them? Do they seek any peace with you? Be not blind folded, for the philistines and foreigners that come to you, seek not your peace! Their desire is to annihilate you, take away Jerusalem from you and make you a wanderer in the land! I beseech you therefore, stand your ground, fear not, for I Myself will fight against nations that will rise against you; declares the LORD."
