PROPHECY TO THE KING OF ISRAEL

Thus says the LORD, "O king of Israel, Shall you be like the edomites who stood by and even joined foreigners to plunder and cast lots for Jerusalem? As I cut off the edomites for this evil, so will I cut you off and take away your mantle of leadership if you do not defend Jerusalem; declares the LORD."
