Thus says the LORD, "America, America; Though you search for me, you find me not because of the wickedness of your people. The smell of your sins is too much for me to bear! Though I loved you much, but now because of your wickedness, no longer shall you be called mine. There shall be darkness allover your land, and fear and uncertainty shall grip your people; declares the LORD."
